Antonio Canova Exhibition at the Buonarroti House in Florence
With a nice and short walk from Hotel Loggiato dei Serviti, about 10 minutes, you can easily reach the Buonarroti House Museum entirely dedicated to the life and work of Michelangelo. What better place than a museum dedicated to one of the best and most famous Italian and world artists to host an exhibition about another big Italian and world artist, such as Antonio Canova, born nearly 300 years after Michelangelo?
The Museum of the Renaissance Master hosts the exhibition of the Neoclassicism Master, really facinating! Until October the 21rst 2013, the exhibition entitled "Antonio Canova. Beauty and Memory" brings to Florence all works from Canova originally exhibited in the Municipal Museum of Bassano del Grappa, a beautiful town in the North East of Italy where Canova belonged.
Via Ghibellina 70
