This year as well there will be the traditional German Christmas market "Heidelberger Weihnachtsmarkt" of Santa Croce in Florence that offers, in an absolutely spectacular setting, a few products of the German tradition  as wooden Christmas decorations, nativity scenes and gift ideas with German specialties including great beer, wurst, pretzels and lots of sweets and chocolate.  Wood stands, a swivel bar, a carousel horse for children and Christmas carols  together give a special charm to Piazza Santa Croce.  This is a beautiful Christmas experience that pushes the boundaries of traditional Italian Christmas and arrives at the nostalgic German Christmas atmosphere .

The stalls will be open every day from 22 November to 16 December, from 10.00 to 20.00.
