Corri la Vita 2026: Stay Near the Finish Line in Central Florence

The Corri la Vita 2026 route is longer this year and can be completed as either a run or a walk. More than 40,000 people took part in 2025. This year, the official cyclamen pink T-shirts created by Ferragamo will once again fill the streets of Florence.

Corri la Vita supports projects focused on prevention, early diagnosis, psycho-oncology, and cancer rehabilitation. Participants can also personalize their race bib by dedicating it to someone they choose to run or walk for.

The event will also feature the traditional performance by the Florence Dragon Lady LILT team on the Arno. Claudio Stecchi, Italy's indoor pole vault record holder, will be the official starter of the 24th edition.

More Than 68 Cultural Sites to Visit with the Corri la Vita T-Shirt

Corri la Vita also offers participants the opportunity to discover Florence's cultural heritage. The official T-shirt provides free access to more than 68 cultural sites during the event weekend.

New additions for 2026 include Palazzo Strozzi and the exhibition BROKEN. Il potere del Frammento, the Restoration Museum and Cappella di Palazzo Ridolfi, the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno, the Museo della Misericordia, and the Accademia dei Georgofili. The program also extends beyond Florence to places such as the Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato, the Museo della Paglia in Signa, and several museums within the MUDEV network in the Empolese Valdelsa area.

For visitors coming to Florence for Corri la Vita, the event is also an opportunity to combine the race or walk with a weekend of museums, historic buildings, and cultural attractions across Tuscany.

From Loggiato dei Serviti to the Corri la Vita Finish Line

Loggiato dei Serviti is located in Piazza della Santissima Annunziata, in the heart of Florence's historic center, directly opposite the Spedale degli Innocenti designed by Brunelleschi. From the hotel, Piazza della Signoria, where the Corri la Vita finish line will be located, is about a 15-minute walk away.

The hotel's central location also makes it easy to explore Florence on foot. The Duomo is about a 10-minute walk away, while the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's David, is nearby. During the Corri la Vita weekend, Piazza della Repubblica will also be one of the event's main locations, hosting the Villaggio della Salute from September 25 to 27.

Loggiato dei Serviti: A 16th-Century Palazzo in Piazza della Santissima Annunziata

Loggiato dei Serviti occupies a building constructed between 1517 and 1527 by Antonio da Sangallo the Elder for the Order of the Servants of Mary. The building was designed in relation to the Spedale degli Innocenti, which still stands directly opposite the hotel today.

The building retains historic features including exposed wooden ceilings, period furnishings, and an inner courtyard. Rooms and suites are furnished in Florentine style with antique pieces and, depending on the room, overlook the Duomo, the inner courtyard, or the Accademia gardens.

Breakfast is served each morning in the historic spaces of the building. The hotel's central location makes it easy to walk to the Corri la Vita finish line and to many of the cultural sites taking part in the event.
