Loggiato dei Serviti is a historic residence in the center of Florence located in Piazza della Santisisma Annunziata. The Loggia, from which the Hotel takes its name, was built between 1517 and 1527 by Antonio da Sangallo the Elder for the Order of the Servites, to give unity and harmony to the pre-existing and older buildings. Its design was inspired by Brunelleschi’s Spedale, located just across from the hotel. Loggiato dei Serviti carries on the hospitality tradition begun by the Servite Fathers in the 16th century, offering it today with all the modern comforts and services to meet the needs of contemporary travelers.
