September is the perfect time to rediscover Florence at a slower pace, and the Uffizi Galleries know it well: R-estate con l'arte! is back, a program of guided visits and workshops designed for families, supported by Unicoop Firenze. At the Uffizi, children aged 6 to 10 can take their first steps into the museum with "Uffizi: pronti... attenti... via!", a journey to discover the Tribuna, while "Uffizi ai 4 sensi" offers itineraries built around scents, sounds and tactile details for a multisensory encounter with the masterpieces. There's also "Scopriamo i segreti dei pittori!", a journey through the techniques and tools of the old masters.
At Palazzo Pitti, "Esploratori a Pitti" turns the visit into a treasure hunt of riddles and artworks, while "La Reggia delle meraviglie" tells the story of the palace and its grand-ducal families with the help of two wooden puppets. At the Museum of Fashion and Costume, the "Ditelo con i fiori" workshop introduces designer Ferdinando Sarmi through a creative activity with fabrics and recycled materials.
In the Boboli Gardens, "Esploratori a Boboli" offers a treasure hunt through history and nature, retracing the garden's transformations over time.
The calendar continues throughout September, with several dates each week: booking is required, along with a valid museum entry ticket.
